Tennis fans know that Nick Kyrgios is really impulsive person and others just think he has anger issues.
Ahead of this third-round match against J.J. Wolf at the 2022 US Open, the 27-years-old Australian asked his fans on Instagram to ask him questions while he's getting a haircut. One of the fans asked if the 2022 Wimbledon finalist has anger issues and Kyrgios replied very honestly.
“It was a very tough match for me. I knew J.J. is a home crowd favourite, I knew I had to be on my guns today and serve well. I’m just really happy to move forward. I’m really excited to play Medvedev if he wins,” Kyrgios said in his on-court interview after third round.
“I’m doing it (winning) for my team as well, we’ve all been away from home for a while. I’m just playing for a lot of people back home. At the US Open, this is the furthest I’ve ever gone, so it’s a special year for me already, hopefully I can keep it going” Kyrgios said.
"No, I deal with intense pressure and expectation. One thing I deal with is winning issues, I've won lot since I was about 10 years old," stated Kyrgios on his Instagram.
