Nick Kyrgios accused of animal cruelty after social media post

Nick Kyrgios disappointed masses with the Australian catching fire animal cruelty.

After losing his maiden Grand Slam final at Wimbledon, Nick Kyrgios travelled to his base in the Bahamas where he spent some quality time with his significant other recharging his batteries. From there it was a rather short trip to Atlanta where he will play next.

A photo of Kyrgios on his Instagram profile contained a video with the Australian pulling a shark onto the shore with other people. The video featured the young shark fighting desperately to get away which got many fans to question the action in the comments.

One fan pointed out that Kyrgios is a vegan who switched to the diet because, in his own words, he doesn't think animals should be eaten. Other fans defend the action with many going back and forth between each other. After some of the comments, the Australian quickly responded, stating: “There were no hooks involved. The shark bites on bait attached to the rope. I was wanting to see the strength of the shark.”
