Christopher Eubanks might have had the best year of his career on the ATP Tour, but the American didn't forget his beloved Tennis Channel, on which he spoke about Rafael Nadal.
As Christopher Eubanks's career stalled professionally, the American found himself working for the Tennis Channel as an analyst. He did really well in the role, earning adoration from many fans, which is what made this year even more special.
When he finally broke out this year, fans rallied around him and cheered him on as he reached heights he never did before. While that was great and allowed him to pursue his ultimate dream, he didn't forget his beloved Tennis Channel gig.
As we're in the offseason, the American returned to his role as an analyst there and talked about Rafael Nadal's return to the Tour, as the Spaniard recently announced that he will be returning to tennis at the 2024 Brisbane International.
Super excited to have one of the best competitors in the history of our game back, hopefully healthy. And looking forward to hopefully making some better memories in Australia. It's a place in which he's had a decent amount of success, ironically enough.
Nadal announced his comeback to tennis by posting a sort of hype video where he confirmed that he'll be back at the 2024 Brisbane International, which is an ATP 250 tournament at the start of the season.
The video itself is a signal to Eubanks how much Nadal appreciates his fans, letting them know along the way where he's at.
I think that's just a testament to him letting his fans know, I want to come back. Often times, you don't hear much from players. Rafa is letting his fans know: 'I wanna come back, I'm doing everything I possibly can to get my body healthy.'
