Kei Nishikori and his wife Mai Yamauchi recently held a special wedding ceremony after having to postpone their original wedding ceremony due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Nishikori and Yamauchi were married in a private ceremony in 2020 but were unable to have the traditional wedding celebration they had planned due to the pandemic. However, they recently held a special ceremony in front of their family and friends to celebrate their love and commitment to each other.
The ceremony was held at a beautiful venue in Japan, and was attended by close family and friends. Nishikori looked dashing in a black tuxedo, while Yamauchi wore a stunning white wedding dress. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Nishikori and Yamauchi were able to hold the special wedding ceremony they had always dreamed of.
It was a beautiful and memorable celebration of their love and commitment to each other, and a reminder that love can conquer even the most difficult of circumstances. In a statement, the Japanese player wrote:
"On 24th December, I celebrated my wife, dance, wedding and reception. We couldn't hold it all the time due to Corona, but so many people came to celebrate with us so much, and the dance made our town very hot. Its yet another beginning for us. I'll do my best to get back on the world top stage again," he wrote in a statement.
