Daniil Medvedev recently welcomed his first child, a daughter, and he spoke about what kind of father he intends to be.

In Paris, Medvedev confessed that he was loving parenting far more than he had anticipated. The Russian continued to talk about the subject recently admitting that he doesn't want to make his kids do anything against their will.

"So that's how I want to be with my kids. I don't want to force them to do anything. I want to show them life. I want to for sure show them different sports I like. I like racing, I like tennis, I like soccer," explained Medvedev.

Being able to choose for yourself is important because that's how it was with Medvedev. He tried many things but settled on tennis and it was a good choice. He added more on the topic:

"But maybe they're not gonna like sports. So I want to show them different museums, arts, singers. I have no idea. But I am looking forward to it because I like this chapter of my life. I am happy that I am a father. I am looking forward to what life brings to me as a father."
