Adrian Andreev and Corentin Moutet were fined a significant amount by the ATP for their latest altercation at Orleans Challenger.

For their recent incident during their Round 16 match at the Challenger Orleans, Corentin Moutet of France and Adrian Andreev of Bulgaria each received a heavy punishment of €10,000. After Andreev defeated Moutet 2-6, 7-6, 7-6 on September 29 in front of Moutet's home supporters, the players were spotted pushing each other during the customary handshake after a nasty spat.

During the warm-up of their Orleans challenger match, Moutet aimed at Andreev while he was practising volleys reigniting the clash. Moutet took to social media after the match refusing to apologize and explaining what had happened.

According to him, Andreev insulted him and he wasn't going to let that go easily: "I don't want to apologize for what happened at the end of the game. When a player allows himself to say 'f**k you' twice while looking me in the eye, I can't help but make him understand in my way that these are things that are not done."
