Alexander Zverev was losing against Sebastian Baez at the 2022 Roland Garros, but he was able to stage a comeback and win in five sets.

Zverev didn't start his second-round match at the 2022 French Open well, as he seemed to be completely out of rhythm and struggled to match the intensity and energy that Baez brought to the court.

The Argentinian player did not waste any time jumping out to an early lead. Baez played well overall, but Zverev was the one making it easy for him, hitting only three winners in the opening set while committing nine errors.

Therefore, it was not a surprise that Baez was able to win that opening set 6-2, and he started the second set by dominating even more, jumping out to a quick 4-0 lead.

Zverev barely escaped a bagel by saving a couple of break points to make it 1-4, but he started playing much more aggressively after that. It worked, and he recovered one of the breaks, but Baez was able to hold on to the lead, winning the second set 6-4.

That more aggressive approach showed to Zverev that might be the way, and it was. The German bested Baez in the third set, winning 6-1 and finally showing some inspired tennis.

Zverev served much better, which gave him chances to attack, with Baez not handling it that well. The fourth set was quite similar as Zverev jumped out to an early lead and held his serve after that.
