Alex de Minaur and John Isner complete Team World at 2022 Laver Cup

Both teams are complete ahead of the 2022 Laver Cup as coach of the Team World, John McEnroe announced the last two players.

Alex de Minaur and John McEnroe are the last two players to join the Team World for the 2022 Laver Cup. However, they will face a difficult task as the Big Four, Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray will be in the other team. However, the coach and both announced players are ready to surprise the Team Europe at the 2022 Laver Cup.

“This is a highly accomplished and competitive team,” said McEnroe. “Isner brings a wealth of experience and a record of success in singles and doubles at the Laver Cup. He is a consummate professional and a leader on the court. Alex is a great fighter, and it’s exciting to have him join the team. He will thrive in this environment and has earned his spot with his play!”

"I feel honored to be selected for Team World, it means so much to me,” said Isner. “This is such a special event and London will be bigger than ever. Team World has come so close to winning the Laver Cup, and I truly believe we can pull it off this year."

"I’m excited to be playing the Laver Cup in September,” De Minaur said. “I’ve heard many great things from my mates on the Tour and I can’t wait to get out there for John McEnroe and my teammates."
