Iga Swiatek has no plans of throwing in the towel early in her career as she doesn't want to go the Ashleigh Barty route.

While former world no. 1 on the WTA Tour, Ashleigh Barty struggled to stay motivated and compete that is not a problem for Iga Swiatek. She's very motivated to carve out the best possible career for herself and her career trajectory so far proves just that.

She's working very hard to maintain her position as the best player in the world and while she almost lost that status, she's already back to winning ways making a strong start at the Poland Open. She talked to the media at the same event admitting that she has no plans of retiring early.

I can tell the fans that there is nothing to think about, because I don't do it myself. I think I will be the kind of tennis player who will finish when I'm in my thirties.

She admitted to feeling consumed by tennis despite holding strong interests away from the court and racquets. She has some plans in that regard but for now, she's totally dedicated to tennis. At least she gets to travel right now. It's one of the things she enjoys doing.

I also know that there are a lot of cool things that can be done in life, I have a lot of such projects in my head that would be interesting in the future, and I can not do too much now, because I am consumed by tennis. I think if I still have these ideas in the future, maybe I will have a second career.
