Over the past two weeks, Rafael Nadal and Casper Ruud have wowed spectators in South America with a variety of exhibition tennis matches staged in some breathtaking locations.

The World No. 2 and 3 delighted their adoring fans with some lighthearted thrills while competing in Buenos Aires, Belo Horizonte, Quito, Bogota, and finishing in Mexico City, demonstrating once more the sport's appeal in Latin America after they sold out venues throughout the region.

Ruud was defeated by Nadal 4-1 over the course of the past two weeks, with the Norwegian's lone victory coming in Quito, Ecuador. However, rather than the rallies on display, the final duel in Mexico City will undoubtedly be remembered for the epic setting it provided to host a tennis match.

The event was held at the Monumental Plaza de Toros Mexico, a stunning venue that allegedly attracted over 40,000 spectators. In front of jubilant Mexican supporters, Nadal won the last match 7-6, 6-4 to end the series.

The tennis players showed the spectators the respect they deserved by fiercely battling for every point and exchanging victories. Moreover, during one of the rallies, the 22-time Grand Slam champion delivered even more than fans asked for as he played a superb fake smash that ended up in a beautiful drop shot.
