While some tennis stars would be prepared to do anything to win a point, Alexander Bublik has got himself a reputation for not loving the sport as much.
Currently down on the south coast of England at the Eastbourne International, this was a point that he reiterated during a pre-match interview.
In recent years he has gained a following based on his entertainment factor, rather than a 'give it everything' attitude. He is someone who will willingly throw in the odd underarm serve here or there.
This may come from a lack of love for the sport or a desire to entertain, but one thing that is certain is that he does have a knack for not shying away from being honest.
He has already spoken at length about how he treats being a professional tennis player as more of a job rather than his passion, and this was reaffirmed when he spoke to the media at the ATP 250 event.
"I still like playing on the grass. I don't have to run too much, you don't tired. It's not clay. Anything but clay is good, so yeah, I'm happy."
Enjoying the playful banter with which Bublik is always happy to oblige, the reporter followed up by asking him about what he enjoys.
His response will certainly be remembered for a while in the tennis circles, with him happy to share the truth about what he enjoys doing.
"Staying in a bed. I like staying in a bed and enjoying the view. Not staying here but yeah. Don't you guys like the same? Nobody likes to go to their job."
Despite potentially coming across as lazy, Bublik is unfazed by others' perceptions and lets the results do the talking.
Being a top ATP player on tour, as well as having a game that will always pose a threat to others on grass, means that he is always an outsider for a trophy on the grass courts.
