In an unusual sight at the Roland Garros, Gael Monfils was seen playing alone against nine people on the tennis court.

The French player, who is currently ranked 52nd in the ATP Tour, was practicing his skills and endurance in a unique way. Monfils, who is known for his athleticism and acrobatic shots, showed off his impressive speed and agility as he chased down balls and hit them back to his opponents.

The Frenchman started by serving at individuals, who attempted to return his serve. Then, he started playing against 1 person and kept adding people on the court until the count reached 9.

While it is uncommon to see a professional player facing such a large group on the court, Monfils seemed to be enjoying himself and was smiling throughout the session. He even joked with the players and included some tricky shots.

Despite not competing in the Australian Open this year, Monfils is keeping himself in top shape and preparing for the upcoming season. He has chosen to skip the tournament in order to use the protected ranking option in the future, which allows players to use their ranking from the previous year to enter tournaments.

It is clear that Monfils is taking his training seriously and is determined to make a strong comeback in the upcoming season.
