Throughout his career, Felix Auger-Aliassime has been donating money to Togo to support country's education and protection.

Felix Auger-Aliassime, the sixth-ranked player in the world, clearly remembers his roots. The youngster flew to Togo, the country where his father Sam is from, during a brief break in the tennis season on the ATP Tour.

Felix's father relocated to Quebec, Canada, where he met Marie Auger, a French Canadian. The couple welcomed Felix Auger-Aliassime, who was already born in Canada, a few years after they first met.

The Canadian No. 1 made a vow early in his career to give $5 to Togo for each ATP Tour point he won. His sponsor joined him in this initiative, so now for every point he wins, $20 is given to kids in Togo.

“For all the points I earn during my matches, BNP Paribas and I donate $20 to support the education and protection of children in Togo,” he said.

Now, Auger-Aliassime spends time with children in Togo that can live better lives also thanks to his donations. During his stay in the country, he visited some of the facilities and he also enjoyed time with children as he was seen dancing in the circle with them.
