The 2023 season is right around the corner as players are already starting to shape up their schedule for January and so is Novak Djokovic.

Before starting his 2023 ATP season, the Serbian will travel to Dubai, where he will take part at the 2022 World Tennis League. After that, it's direction Australia for the 21-time Grand Slam champion, who was denied entry to the country this year, but that should be different in 2023.

Prior to competing at the 2023 Australian Open, Novak Djokovic will take part at warm-up event, which is an ATP 250 tournament Adelaide International. The Serbian won this event back in 2007 and in its history it was won by likes of Lleyton Hewitt, Tommy Haas, Tim Henman and Jim Courier.

It's not unusual for Djokovic to play ahead of the first Grand Slam of the season. In 2020 and 2021, he competed at the ATP Cup and in 2019 he took part at the event in Doha before the Australian Open.

At the 2023 Adelaide International, he should be joined by likes of Andy Murray and Jannik Sinner. Two players were announced also for the WTA event as Grand Slam champions Victoria Azarenka and Petra Kvitova will take part.
