Karen Khachanov has welcomed a second child into his family, announcing it on social media; the boy was born on Wednesday, July 12th.
Time flies and players are growing up which means more and more of them are becoming fathers. After a few of them became one in the last year, Karen Khachanov became a father for the second time in his life recently.
The Russian player, currently ranked 11th on the ATP Tour, isn't having a great time on the tennis courts lately as he was forced to abandon plans of playing at Wimbledon but off the court, he's enjoying some nice time with the family.
He took to social media to announce the birth of his son Mikael which happened yesterday, Wednesday, July 12th. The announcement was accompanied by a photo of Khachanov holding his baby's hand with the caption welcoming his son into the world both in English and Russian.

His first child was born back in 2019, and it was a son as well. Khachanov and his wife, Veronika Shkliaeva, have been together since 2011 and married in 2016, having now two little boys to take care of. The Russian has had a really strong year on the courts, scoring some impressive wins.
He missed out on the final of the Australian Open earlier this year with his play kind of slowing down since then. A very strong performer in the Gran Slams, Khachanov was devastated to withdraw from Wimbledon a few weeks ago.
The last time we saw his name in the media was recently after Politico alleged that he clashed with good friend Andrey Rublev at the Serbia Open last year over the war in Ukraine. But now, he'll enjoy more pleasant moments with his family and his child.
