"Just a matter of time before I see you Nicky boy" - Tomic sends warning to Kyrgios

Bernard Tomic has sent Nick Kyrgios a warning claiming that the Australian is obsessed with him as he frequently comments on him.

Kyrigios and Tomic spent their formative years competing against one another on the Australian courts. They were both hailed as outstanding players who would advance Australian tennis, but despite early successes, neither really lived up to their potential.

Compared to Tomic, who has made a lot of dubious decisions, Kyrgios has had a much better career. Although it was rarely direct, there was a fair amount of back and forth between the two on social media recently. Tomic first asserted that he was superior to Kyrgios adding that the Australian was fixated on him since youth:

"The only logical explanation is that I'm his idol. He's always been in my shadows growing up. That's why anytime someone mentions my name to him, it gets under his skin. He knows he can't rewrite the history as well, the records I set." said Tomic.

Since then there have been more shots taken by Kyrgios toward Tomic with the 29-year-old Australian now sending a warning shot to Kyrgios. He wrote in a story:

"Just a matter of time before I see you Nicky boy" putting the hashtags 'obsessed' and 'scared'. Tomic is currently ranked 660 in the world but he hopes to get his career back on track and recently won an ITF event in Cancun.
