Frances Tiafoe will represent electrifying tennis in London as the world number 19 aims to build on his success at the US Open.

A run to the semi-finals in New York saw Tiafoe nearly secure a spot in his maiden Grand Slam final but despite the loss, Tiafoe is buzzing with confidence:

“I just proved that I can play with the best, and I’m capable of winning Grand Slams. I’ve always backed myself against the best players in the world — I’m doing it on a consistent basis, starting to beat guys more readily, ready to take the next step,” said Tiafoe. “I feel like I can win any match."

The American will certainly play some of the best on the other side of the net in London and he's looking forward to it.

“I love Laver Cup competition. I know what to expect and I think we have a great chance this year of taking the title from Team Europe." said Tiafoe with Team World Captain John McEnroe describing his player’s current form as “hot”.

Tiafoe made his debut at the Laver Cup back in 2017 and explained that for him the competition is very similar to the Davis Cup in terms of atmosphere but better because it teams up friends to play against each other.
