Holger Rune had a few questionable moments at Roland Garros with his behaviour against Casper Ruud particularly raising eyebrows.

It's not the first time Rune did something questionable thing on the court as he had moments like that in the past. Just last year at a challenger event in Italy Rune was heard shouting homophobic slurs in Danish towards his opponent. He was fined and apologized calling the behaviour unacceptable.

In a recent interview, the 19-year-old defended his action on court Philippe Chatrier by using Federer as an example. He explained that Roger was even worse as a youngster.

If you saw Roger Federer as a youngster, he was maybe 40 times worse than I was. And he's one of the most beloved tennis players on the tour - so I think I have plenty of time to get an even better image.

The emotional side that Rune shows during matches comes from a deep passion for the game according to him. It's certainly something many of us can relate to as everybody can get passionate about things they love.

I have an extreme passion for this sport and sometimes I show it too much. But I'm 19 years old. I'm still young and I work every day to bring out only the positives in my attitude - and that's a process. I just see that as differences and I think that's great. If all people were the same and think the same, it would be horrible to live in this world. It's great that you think what you want, and you like the character you like.
