Rafael Nadal is on schedule according to his doctor who revealed that he is training well in preparation for his return.
The upcoming Paris Masters should be where Nadal makes his tennis comeback after not playing since the Laver Cup. The last time he stood alone on the court was the at US Open when he played Frances Tiafoe and lost.
"Rafa is fine, very happy with his fatherhood," said Angel Cotorro adding "Once that situation is fulfilled, which logically takes you out of the day to day, he is training well and following the schedule for the end of the season."
Nadal has not yet confirmed his participation, but he most likely will compete at the ATP Finals in Turin as well. That was clarified by ATP Chairman Andrea Gaudenzi when he discussed Nadal at the Firenze Open last week.
"I think the secret is hard work, passion for the sport, trying to improve every day, and having outstanding physical tennis qualities. He is a historic player for our sport and there he continues to give us joy." added his doctor about his commitment to tennis.
