Taylor Fritz is one of many top players that will be in Suadi Arabia for the Diriyah Tennis Cup and he thinks it's a great prep for the upcoming season.
Strong players will compete in the Diriyah Tennis Cup, and many think it will be an excellent method for many of them to be ready for the upcoming season. Fritz agrees since it will provide him the opportunity to compare himself to other top players in the draws.
“I think it’s going to help (me) prepare for the Australian Open and for the rest of the year because I can start out by playing against the best players in the world. The field is so strong, so it’s always great to surround yourself with a lot of great players," said Fritz.
Fritz hopes to get many people into the stands because he believes the tennis of level will be high as players get ready for Australia:
“People should come to support because hopefully it’ll be a lot of good tennis. Hopefully they’ll be cheering for me to win. They can expect a lot of big hitting, big serving, and hopefully some nice shot-making."
