Carlos Alcaraz might have failed in winning the trophy in Hamburg but the Spaniard nonetheless debuted a new career high ranking today.

Every Monday, the ATP publishes its updated rankings and on today's we have Daniil Medvedev leading the pack once more. Despite not playing the Russian is comfortably ahead of Zverev but it might not be so for much longer with a crucial part of the season coming up for both. Nadal holds number 3 with Stefanos Tsitsipas still at four.

Alcaraz moved up to number 5 as Ruud slid down to number 6 ahead of Djokovic at number 7. Rublev at 8, Auger-Aliassime at 9 and Sinner at 10 complete the top 10. Further down we saw a couple of players doing moves as well. Khachanov moved up 3 spots to number 23, his highest in a while as Francisco Cerundolo is right behind at 24, a new career high.

The biggest mover of the week is Lorenzo Musetti who won his maiden trophy yesterday by beating Carlos Alcaraz in the Hamburg Open final. He is now ranked number 31 after jumping 31 spots. Alex Molcan jumped 10 spots after another solid outing with Pedro Martinez doing something similar moving up to number 49. Check out the rankings on our dedicated ATP Rankings Page.
