From January 9th to 15th, the ATP Tour will travel to Auckland for the 2023 ASB Classic as players are gearing up for the first Grand Slam of the season.

Before the Australian Open starts on the 16th of January, some of the players will compete in New Zealand at a very popular event - the ASB Classic. The event hasn't been held since 2020, when Ugo Humbert lifted the trophy.

In 2023, Casper Ruud is the highest-seeded player in the draw. The Norwegian has a bye in the first round as all top-four seeded players and he will meet Jaume Munar or Laslo Djere in the second round.

The defending champion Ugo Humbert will play against a qualifier in the first round as the winner will face off against David Goffin or the fifth-seeded Alexander Bublik in the second round.
